How long have you been in business?
We have run and operated Handyman Matters for 6 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service are the "Honey Do" lists, the small 1-4 hour jobs. We will hang towel bars, hang blinds, change light fixtures, patch drywall, paint a room, install floors, even do full remodels of your kitchen and bathroom.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always worked in some part of the construction field. I started off in a cabinet making and cabinet hardware company for three years. After that I worked as a new home/ third party inspector for 4 years. I inspected the foundations and framing for builders like Richmond and KB homes. I was a superintendent for a few months before I decided to join my parents in running Handyman Matters.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are different because we hire our own employees. We are a licensed and insured company, that takes pride in our work and our craftsmen. We Warranty our work for 1 year.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I currently have the location in Colorado Springs. I love what I do, and so there is always the possibility of expanding.

We are on the South West corner of Woodman and Windchime. Our office is in the Windchime Center.
What type of payments do you accept?
We take payment ONLY after the job is completed. We will never ask for money up front. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We service all of Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas of Woodland Park, Black Forest, Pueblo, Monument, Falcon, Peyton, Canon City, Florence, Fountain, and Divide
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Glenn and Sandy Garvey own the company, and Eric Garvey runs the office as the General Manager.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 7 pm, but we answer our phones 24-7
